The “Oscars” of Umbrian agriculture were awarded in the beautiful setting of the Salone Bazzani in the Government Palace in Terni on October 28.
We were nominated for our organic production methods marked by environmental sustainability.
Even today with quite a bit of excitement, we are proud that Coldiretti Giovani Impresa presented us with the first prize for the “Sustainability and Ecological Transition” category!
The sustainable choice
It was our idea of wanting to implement a model of sustainable agriculture in all of its meanings-economic, social and environmental- that was rewarded.
Trusting that our innovative ideas can help create a better future for us, Coldiretti thus recognized the value of our organic production.
The full control of the entire production chain enabling quality and sustainability, certain technological choices such as compostable packaging or the NZEB production building, were some of the award reasons.
A recognition such as this can only bring us pleasure.
The most important award
We are also aware that this is just one of the many “awards” we are given every day.
In fact, our customers continue to choose us on a daily basis.
Some because they experience an immediate benefit from consuming our healthy, organic, safe and nutritious products. Others because they share with us the same values and efforts in safeguarding the planet. And thus support us in our method of sustainable production for the planet we live on. This recognition of our commitment and of the quality of our food will always be the most important reward for us.
On our part, the biggest thanks we can give is to continue to do our best.
The organic method we use, of all the possible methods for producing wholesome and safe food, is perhaps neither the easiest nor, to date, the most economical for us and our customers.
But we believe it to be the “greenest” and the most environmentally friendly if we are to ensure a better future for ourselves and our children on a healthy planet.
