Description
As a protein- and fiber-rich legume, organic chickpeas are good for heart health and low cholesterol: thanks to their omega-3 fatty acid content, they are also good allies of the cardiovascular system.
Rich in taste and flavor, they are ideal for classic soups, vegetable soups or quality salads. But they are also perfect for preparing more distinctive dishes such as chickpea meatballs or cutlets, velouté, chickpea chips, chickpea in tuna sauce, or classic chickpea pasta.
For dry organic chickpeas, a soaking time of 12 hours is recommended, and about 2 hours cooking time.
